This old motivational quote stayed in my memory since I was 10 years old. Back then, my mother was a proud Princess House consultant — a direct sales rep offering fine crystal and dinnerware. I remember the flyers, the catalogs, the joy she felt being part of something she believed in. But there was one thing that stuck out more than anything: the story of the bumblebee.

The motivational speaker told us, “The bumblebee defies all laws of physics. Its wings are too small, its body too big. It shouldn’t be able to fly… but it does.”

It became a metaphor. “If the bumblebee can fly when science says it can’t, then you can succeed in sales.” That was the message. But something always felt deeper about it. Even at 10 years old, I knew there was more.
