The Utility Extortion Scroll: Paying for Nothing in the Matrix

Open any utility bill and you’ll see it—a mess of phantom charges, mysterious fees, and fine print designed to keep you paying without questioning.

They call it a “transmission charge” or a “regulatory compliance fee” or a “service access adjustment.” But let’s call it what it is: Extortion.

I once had a gas line account that charged me $103 every month—even though I wasn’t using any gas. My stove had been removed. No appliances were connected. The gas line wasn’t active. And still, $103 a month.

When I called to question it, they told me:

“Those are all standard pass-through charges.”

Pass-through to what? Thin air? Greed? The black hole that is the Matrix financial system?

They couldn’t answer that. Because there is no real answer. It’s just part of the system now. You pay to keep the contract alive. You pay for access. You pay for permission. Even if you’re not consuming a single unit of gas.

And the phone bill? Don’t get me started. I pay $123 a month for one line. One. A single cell phone. They advertise $10 add-a-line promotions, but they hit you with every trick in the book once they get you in the system.

Federal surcharges. Line access fees. Device payments. Recovery charges. Taxes that change every month. By the time you’re done reading your bill, you realize only a fraction of it is the actual “service.”

We’re not paying for utilities or communication. We’re paying for submission.

And the Matrix has built this system so well, so universally, that most people don’t even flinch anymore. You want light? Pay the fee. You want heat? Pay the fee. You want to talk to someone, run your business, access the internet, or use a GPS? You will pay.

Even worse? It doesn’t end there. You could go with a cheap phone plan, sure. But guess what? They throttle your connection. Limit your speed. Disable essential services.

I’ve tried them. They don’t work if you’re running credit card transactions on the road, or trying to communicate in remote locations. So what does that mean? You’re forced into the premium plan to function at all.

This is no longer capitalism. This is captivity.

Every month, millions of people stare at these bills with resentment and helplessness. We know it’s wrong. We know it’s theft. But what are our choices?

Until the QFS and quantum phones arrive, we are tethered to a system that charges us for the illusion of service.

But once you see it—you can’t unsee it. And when you speak it—you start to break its power.
