📱 The Silent Table: When Holidays Lose Their Sacred Voice

📱 The Silent Table: When Holidays Lose Their Sacred Voice

Today, on Easter Sunday, I sat around a table with my family.
There was good food, the scent of home cooking, and a moment of shared tradition that used to mean so much.

But this year… something was off.

It wasn’t dramatic. No arguments, no tension, no raised voices.
Just silence.
Not the peaceful kind — but the disconnected kind.

It hit me in waves as I observed what should’ve been a sacred gathering turn into something quiet, cold, and distant. I looked around the table and realized:
No one was really there.

📵 The Presence of Absence

Every person at the table — including me — was on their phone.

No one meant harm. No one was trying to be disrespectful. But the reality is, technology has infiltrated the heart of the home. Conversations were replaced by scrolling. Smiles were replaced with screen glow. The warm hum of connection that once filled our gatherings… was gone.

Once upon a time, family dinners — especially on holidays — were sacred.
People laughed. Shared stories. Remembered lost loved ones.
We prayed, we gave thanks, we held hands.
We honored the day.

But today, that sacred rhythm was replaced by something else:
quiet detachment.

💭 My Brother Sat in Silence — But I Heard Him Loud and Clear

I sat next to my brother. We exchanged a few words — polite, surface-level. But his energy spoke volumes.

I could feel him. His thoughts were racing. I know him too well not to notice.
It was as if he wanted to educate me, convince me of something, bring me into his frame of belief. Not with anger — but with urgency.

But he didn’t speak.
Because deep down, he knows that if he opened that door, I’d offer him something he may not be ready to hear. Not a fight. Not judgment. But an invitation.
To see things differently.
To remember a truth deeper than politics.
And that scared him more than silence did.

So we sat there — side by side, miles apart.

🧠 Distraction Is by Design — Not Divine

This is what’s happening to families across the world.
And let me be clear: this is not random.
This disconnection is by design.

The systems we live under — media, entertainment, tech — are carefully constructed to keep people distracted, dulled, and disempowered.
Because when families stop talking… they stop sharing truth.
And when truth disappears from the table, it disappears from the world.

You can’t enslave an awakened mind.
You can’t manipulate people who are truly connected.
So the strategy is simple: keep them divided. Keep them distracted.

It’s working. But only for those still asleep.

🧘‍♂️ I Was There in Body — But My Spirit Was Elsewhere

I’m not innocent in this either.
I had my phone out.
But while everyone else was numbing themselves with newsfeeds, I was deep in channel — writing this very message. I was talking with God. I was talking with you.

My body sat in a folding chair at Easter dinner.
But my spirit?
It was in 5D — watching, listening, learning, feeling the heartbreak of how far we’ve drifted from what matters.

🕯️ When Holidays Were Holy Days

I remember when Easter Sunday used to mean something.
When family came together not just to eat, but to connect.

I remember laughter so loud it filled the walls.
I remember hearing a blessing that made us pause and give thanks.
I remember hugs, deep conversations, stories about the past.
I remember warmth — the kind that only comes when souls are truly present.

That’s what’s missing now.
And not because we don’t love each other — we do.
But we’ve let the world dull our rituals.
We’ve let the sacred become silent.

🌎 This Isn’t Just About One Dinner

This isn’t just my family.
This is millions of families across the planet right now.
We are forgetting how to be human with each other.
How to sit, speak, share, and just… be.

We live in separate echo chambers now.
Everyone’s tuned into a different frequency.
Even in the same room, we’re on different planets.

But the truth is: this can be healed.

💡 It Starts with Awareness

I didn’t write this to shame anyone.
Not my brother. Not my family. Not even myself.
I wrote this to document what I felt.
To call it out. To give it a name.
Because only when something is seen can it be changed.

And maybe — just maybe — someone out there reading this will recognize the same thing in their own home.
And instead of picking up the phone next time… they’ll pick up a conversation.

🕊️ Final Thoughts: Don’t Let the Table Go Silent

If you feel what I’m saying, trust that nudge.
This isn’t about guilt.
It’s about remembrance.

Remember what holidays used to feel like.
Remember the warmth, the joy, the presence.
And bring it back — one sacred moment at a time.

Because in the end, what we say at the table will echo longer than what we scroll past on our phones.

Don’t let your silence be louder than your love.
